Jefferson Community and Technical College HIT program online

Jefferson Community and Technical College is pleased to announce that its Health Information Technology program is now online since Fall 2010. All freshmen level HIT courses will be offered in an online format.
 
Selective admission requirements are still in effect. Qualified applicants need to have BIO 137 (Anatomy 1) and a medical terminology course.

Jefferson Community and Technical College HITECH Training Online Program

Jefferson Community & Technical College’s intensive non-degree education program -- offered online -- is designed to provide a pool of qualified individuals who have both healthcare and information technology knowledge.

This training is specifically designed for healthcare and IT professionals to give these individuals the additional skills needed to assist physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers with making the transition to Electronic Health Records (EHR').
